
House adopts Annual Budget Appropriation Bills, Review Reports, and endorses 13th Five Year Plan
During
its 15th sitting today, the House adopted appropriation bills and review
reports, along with final recommendations from relevant committees. The 13th
Five Year Plan (FYP) was also endorsed unanimously.
The House adopted the review report on Satong and Gungtong with all 23 members present voting "Yes".
Similarly, the review report on compensation-related policies for human-wildlife conflict and crop damage received 21 "Yes" and 1 "No" votes out of 22 Members.
The review report on the State of Persons with Disabilities was adopted with 15 "Yes" and 8 "No" votes out of 23 members present.
The Annual Budget Appropriation Bill for FY 2024-25 and the Supplementary Budget Appropriation Bill for FY 2023-24, the House adopted them unanimously with 22 "Yes" votes out of 22.
The 13th Five Year Plan (FYP) was also endorsed unanimously with 23 "Yes" votes.
The adopted annual budget appropriation bills will be forwarded to the National Assembly, while the review reports, recommendations, and the endorsement of the 13th FYP will be sent to the Government for appropriate action.
Tomorrow, the House will conduct a Question Hour session with the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Minister for Finance.
