Launch of Bhutan Parliament Website

Launch of Bhutan Parliament Website

For the first time, the National Council and the National Assembly have jointly launched an official website: www.parliament.bt. His Excellency, the Chairperson, Sangay Dorji, declared this a momentous milestone for the Parliament of Bhutan, emphasizing the website's role as a digital gateway, fostering seamless connections between parliamentary proceedings and the citizens of Bhutan.

Visitors will have access to a wide array of information on the website, including the history of Parliament and details about Parliamentarians, proceedings, legislation, and a virtual view of the respective Houses.

From this site, users will be able to visit the National Council and National Assembly sites separately.

The website was developed with the support of Project 'Nyamdrel and funded by the European Union.
