Roles of the Chairperson
The roles of the Chairperson are as follows:
- Preside over the National Council and enforce its rules of procedure for the orderly conduct of the proceedings.
- Preserve dignity and decorum in the hall.
- Maintain discipline amongst the members.
- Sign Bills passed by the National Council.
- Represent the National Council in its relation with the Druk Gyalpo, the Executive, and the Judiciary.
- Establish inter-parliamentary relations.

རྒྱལ་ཡོངས་ཚོགས་སྡེའི་ཚོགས་རིམ་ འཚོགས་བཞིན་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་ ན་ཚ་ ཡང་ན་ གནད་དོན་གཞན་ གང་རུང་ལུ་བརྟེན་ཏེ་ ཁྲི་འཛིན་ ཕྱི་ཁར་འགྱོ་དགོཔ་ཐོན་ཏེ་ མ་བཞུགས་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་ ཚོགས་རིམ་འགོ་ཁྲིད་ ཁྲི་འཛིན་འོག་མ་གིས་ཕྱག་འགན་བཞེས་དགོ།

ཁྲི་འཛིན་འོག་མ་གིས་ ཚོགས་རིམ་འགོ་ཁྲིད་འབདཝ་ད་ དབང་ཆ་དང་ ཁེ་དབང་ཚུ་ ཁྲི་འཛིན་དང་འདྲ་མཉམ་ཡོདཔ་ཨིན།
