Chairperson attends the Wangdue Kuenrey consecration ceremony
Today, the Chairperson accompanied by some of the National Council members attended the Kuenray consecration ceremony at Wangduephodrang.
The ceremony was graced by His Majesty the King and His Holiness the Je Khenpo.
The Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, dzongkhag officals and thousands of devotees were also present for the consecration ceremony.
The Wangduephodrang dzong was built by Zhabdrung Nawang Namgyel. It was destroyed in a fire in 2012.
