The National Digital Identity Bill 2023 consultation with National Council
The officials from Govtech and DHI made a presentation on the National Digital Identity Bill 2023 to the Members of the National Council today. The functions, background and objectives of the Bill were the highlights of the presentation.
The Chairperson of the Social and Cultural Affairs Committee, Hon'ble Tshering Tshomo said that since the NDI Bill was tabled as an Urgent Bill, the SCAC was assigned to review the Bill for the upcoming 31st session. Hon’ble Members requested for clarifications on various provisions of the Bill.
