3rd Sitting: Deliberation on Review Report on Rural Life Insurance Scheme
Today, the House resumed its deliberation on the Good Governance Committee (GGC)’s review report on the Rural Life Insurance Scheme, presented on 26 May 2025.
The House discussed the report in detail, covering its background, rationale, review approach, current situation, key findings, and one of the five recommendations proposed by the Committee. In view of the few additional submissions and queries from the Members, the House directed the GGC to revisit the recommendation in consultation with the concerned Members.
Deliberation on the
remaining four recommendations has been scheduled for 4 June 2025.
Tomorrow, the House will deliberate on the review report on the State of Tourism in Bhutan.
