The Good Governance Committee reported on feedback from the Ministry of Finance, Royal Civil Service Commission, Office of the Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination, Supreme Court, and the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the review report on the Anti-Corruption Commission’s Annual Report 2023–2024. The Committee informed the House that all responses were satisfactory.

The Economic Affairs Committee presented responses from the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan, Bhutan Development Bank Ltd., Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock on the review report concerning rural credit access in Bhutan. The Committee noted that eight out of eleven responses were satisfactory, while three responses were unsatisfactory.

The Social and Cultural Affairs Committee shared feedback from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, presenting responses to nine recommendations on the state of media. The Committee reported that two responses were unsatisfactory.

The Special Committee presented feedback from the Ministry of Education and Skills Development on five recommendations concerning education-related legislation. The Committee informed the House that two responses were unsatisfactory.

Expressing dissatisfaction with certain responses related to education legislation, the state of media, and rural credit access, members of the House expressed their concerns. Consequently, the House decided to conduct a question-and-answer session with the relevant ministries or the Prime Minister on education-related legislation and the state of media. Furthermore, the House directed the Economic Affairs Committee to hold an internal meeting with the concerned agencies to follow up on the unsatisfactory responses.
