Bhutanese Parliamentary Delegation to Attend the 150th IPU Assembly in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
An esteemed eight-member delegation from the
Parliament of Bhutan, led by His Excellency the Chairperson of the National
Council, will participate in the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary
Union (IPU) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from 5-9 April 2025.
In preparation for this significant international engagement, the delegation visited Dechenphu Lhakhang this morning to offer prayers, seeking divine blessings for a successful and meaningful representation of Bhutan at this global parliamentary forum.
The delegation will depart for Uzbekistan on 3rd April 2025, carrying the aspirations of the Bhutanese people to foster dialogue, strengthen diplomatic ties and contribute to the collective efforts of parliaments worldwide.
